Connect:
J-life Ministries is involved with various forums’
that meet once a month. The forum is a time where Pastors/ Youth Pastors
and Youth Workers can get away from the busyness of ministry to re-gain
a focus. It will allow time for one to look at ministry in a new way,
giving opportunity to learn from failure, both personal and that of
others. It is not a time to critise and point fingers but a time to
learn, to receive personal ministry and get support from others who
are facing similar situations.
Purpose:
:: To build community among youth Pastors/workers
:: To grow Kingdom vision so that we see the broader picture
:: To hold one another accountable
:: To ensure that youth pastors/ youth workers are receiving regular
training.

The core values that have been set out:
1. Honesty
2. Confidentiality
3. This forum is not a time to ‘attack’ Pastors, Leadership
or other organizations
4. We have a responsibility to know and understand that there is always
two sides to a story.
5. Input is to be valued
6. Value other people and other ministries.
7. A multicultural, inter-denominational, a gender diverse group.
8. Invite outside speakers
9. This is a platform to help, not to compete.
10. The facilitator to bring conversation to focus point.
Connect
Gauteng/Mpumalanga – takes place on every
second Tuesday of the month at Camp Eden. From 9am-1pm, which includes
breakfast.
