Pastor/Youth Pastor
Do you have a young person in your church whom you believe
has a call on their life into full-time ministry? Do you desire to
see them equipped for ministry by gaining a recognised qualification,
as well as getting hands-on experience at the same time?
The student programme offered by J-Life Ministries is available to
young adults who have a passion for ministry and who have already
completed one year on a J-Life Ministry team. The student programme
consists of both a theoretical and practical element. The student
will be required to complete a degree in theology within a three year
time period. This degree will be completed via correspondence and
will be obtained through the South African Theological Seminary (SATS).
The student will be required to give 50% of their working time to
studies and 50% of their time to ministering among young people in
a local church. The student programme will be monitored closely by
J-Life staff members with the students getting together once a month
for lectures, dialogue and help with assignments. The student would
also work closely with the pastor / youth pastor in the church in
order to gain the practical skills necessary for ministry. J-Life
is committed to helping place students in ministry opportunities that
are suited to their passions eg: pastoral, youth, church planting
etc.
