Do you have a young adult in your church who is passionate about young people and serving the Lord and who desires further equipping in order to minister more effectively to the young people in your church and community? J-Life offers you the option of sending a young adult to the four month youth ministry training period (January ­ April). Your young adult will then return to your church for the remainder of the year (May ­ December) as your youth worker.

If you have a desire to see young people come to know the Lord and would work well as an individual in a local church, then the Youth Worker Programme is designed for you! J-Life offers the opportunity for you to be trained for 4 months (January ­ April) in youth ministry and then either to return to your local church for the remainder of the year, or to another church, which has applied for a youth worker (May ­ December). J-Life Ministries also runs a Student Programme which can be applied for once you have completed a year on a J-Life ministry team. This is a 3-year programme which enables you to obtain a degree in theology (studying correspondence) while continuing to work alongside J-Life Ministries in a ministry that is best suited to you and your spiritual gifts.

J-Life’s Youth Worker Programme can help your church implement an effective youth ministry or assist with the existing youth ministry within your church by sending an individual to your church. The Programme consists of training individuals who have finished school and are eager to work with young people and serve the Lord. These individuals are trained for 4 months (January ­ April) in a strategy for youth ministry and are then sent to work alongside you and your church, by training up lay leaders within your church to run an effective disciple making youth ministry for the remainder of the year (May ­ December).
